Cranberry Orange Sauce

Original recipe makes 12 servings. This can be made a day ahead and kept in the refrigerator.

Step 1: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the water and orange juice. Stir in the cranberries, and cook until they start to pop (about 10 minutes). Note: It's best to cover the saucepan with a splatter screen.


Step 2: Remove from heat and stir in the Gran Manier. Transfer to a bowl. The cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools. Refrigerate

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounce package of fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup of orange juice
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons Gran Manier
