Cucumber Dill Salad

Step 1: Sprinkle the cucumber with salt. Let stand 30 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Dry on peper towel.


Step 2: Combine sour cream, vinegar, tabasco, chives, dill and pepper in a serving dish. Pour over cucumber. Toss, making sure that all of the cucumber slices are coated. Chill well for at least an hour before using. Garnish with fresh dill.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of cucumber, sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 dashes tabasco
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 2 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
  • pepper to taste
