The taste of the pasta is simple and good. The hot Italian sausages and broccoli are cooked separately and added over the top of the pasta, so the pasta, sausage and sauteed broccoli each keep their own distinct taste. The combined recipe makes 4 servings at 658 calores per serving.
Step 1: Set a pot of water with a good measure of salt to boil for the pasta. Over a medium heat, pour a dollop of oil in a frying pan to keep the sausages from sticking to the pan and add the sausages. Cook them slowly, turning them over several times. When they are done, set them aside. Step 2: When the water boils add the pasta. It takes about 10 minutes. While the pasta is cooking, place a saute pan or wok over a high heat and add the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the garlic and stir until the pieces begin to brown. Add the broccoli and stir, making sure all of the piece are coated with the olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir. Cook until the broccoli is hot, but still firm. If the pan begins to dry before the broccoli is done, add a little water to the pan. When done, set aside. Step 3: When the pasta is al dente, add half of the butter to a preheated serving bowl, then drain the pasta and add it over the top of the butter. Add half the parmigiano to the bowl and toss until the butter and cheese have melted. Add the remaining butter and cheese and toss again until the pasta is coated with the sauce. |
